Again too long since the blogging!!!

So I started the whole blogging thing a few years ago but I set standards that are just too high for me trying to publish, long, whitty posts & often. I over-commit, do "too much" for others, work part-time, help my husband's business (FOR FREE!!!) so trying to keep up with a blog just isn't going to happen. Unless I make some major life changes & let's be honest...at this age that just isn't going to happen! I read several blogs faithfully (Momastery!) & love them. These women are insightful, hilarious, and faithful so that intimidated me. Then it hit me yesterday.... Who am I writing this blog for?!?! The simple answer: me, my hubby & girls. Who cares if anybody else reads it. And honestly, unless you care about the details of the Fishers' lives, you won't really want to read it anyways!!! I'm keeping this blog so I can remember the details during blur that life becomes while raising little girls, so they have some fun memories to look back on & in case I end up with dementia, good nursing home reading! From now on, I'm going to write what I want to remember. Those times I think "man, I hope I don't forget this." Short, sweet and to the point. Plus it's easiest to do this from my iPad & you can't type a novel on this keyboard!

In watching the weather this week, Bug asks "what's milk day?" Whaaaattt?!?? She replied "look! That says its MiLK Day on Monday!" I burst out laughing & informed her there was no "I" in it. It said M.L.K. Day for Martin Luther King Jr." She said "oh, that's right. We get out of school for him, not milk." And yes, Bug is a blonde ;)

Right now, as I'm playing on my iPad, laying on the couch, my hubby is playing Dead Rising 3- killing & running from zombies. Our daughters are yelling at the TV & hubby... "get him!" "Kill him" "eat that!" "Look out for that zombie!" "Over there!" They are a cross between an analyst (wow! That's a lot of blood. A bomb is really the only way to kill them) and a coach (throw a bomb at him. Go that way! No, don't do that!). Parents of the year: definitley not. Sunday Funday: absolutely!!

Happy Sunday y'all!!!
